RE: Crime Scene Investigation & Evidence Collection Nov. 27, 2011
Constable Berkopp inspected the crime scene and dusted for fingerprints on and around the broken window, on the handle of the fridge door, and on the latch of the gate leading into Mr. Forsythe’s backyard. In the course of his inspection, he collected the following evidence:
- blood from the broken window
- a purple fibre from the broken window
- a sample of Mr. Forsythe’s soil and, for comparison purposes, a sample from thegardenofMr. Forsythe’s next-door neighbour
- a partial fingerprint from the gate latch
